I thought this was an interesting topic I saw brought up in a vegan forum: Who has the best tofu dishes around Charlotte? It’s probably something I should spend more time with in writing reviews on Google for Charlotte places. I look for anyone that has mentioned seitan, tofu or even tempeh to find unique and likely vegan friendly spots.
Mama Wok – An easy answer being an all vegan, Chinese restaurant. Plenty of delicious tofu options as well as other faux meat choices.
Lang Van – They do not mark their vegan options, but they always seem to know what vegan means. Fried tofu. Lemongrass curry with tofu.
Bahn Mi Brothers – Clearly marked vegan options on the menu. Tofu and seitan on the menu. They even make their own vegan mayo.
Rhino Market – The classic Tofu You is a bbq tofu sandwich that is great for a quick lunch, casual option.
YaMe Asian Noodles – While they don’t mark the menu vegan, you may have to remove egg from certain dishes. Fortunately, they do a good job identifying the dishes with egg and they also do a really nice job with the tofu preparation.

220c Bahn Mi and Coffee – The tofu Bahn Mi was recommended. Have not verified the vegan friendliness, but menu does list it as vegetarian.
