Even Old Fort has vegan options.
We decided to book a few nights in a tiny house in Old Fort for a few nights to do a little leaf peeping. While we planned to cook our own food in the AirBNB for the two nights, Old Fort surprised us with two decent vegan options.
The one we got to try was The Davis Country Store & Cafe. They have two vegan items listed on the menu. The Vegan B.E.C. (bacon, egg, and cheese on Sourdough) and The Vegan Pig (plant-based bacon and pesto, tomato, red onion). We ordered the B.E.C and we were pleasantly surprised. They informed us that the soup of the day was also vegan while we were there, so it wouldn’t hurt to check with them for more options. They were also dog friendly and had a country store connected.

The other option in Old Fort that we saw was at Hillman Beer. They are one of the few places you will ever find a tempeh option. They offer it in many dishes, but I think only one actually says it can be made vegan upon request. That one being the Kale Salad which sounded pretty good. We had just eaten so had to settle for beer only this time.
